Our Organization

Founded by Ashley’s parents Charlene and Bob Goetz, and her four brothers Peter, Bobby, Corey and Dusty, the Ashley Goetz foundation (AGF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public benefit organization dedicated to carrying out the legacy of Ashley Goetz through content creation and fundraising for specific causes. We are inspired by the woman Ashley became and her determination to make a difference in the world.

WHAT WE DO

Ashley’s fire truly left a lasting impression on everyone she touched. AGF is our collective pursuit to keep her spirit alive and carry out her personal philanthropic vision. It is a platform where you can:

  • Contribute to GetSmart, an online/digital tutoring app Ashley conceptualized to assist students with their educational needs during hospital and homestays. (Read More)
  • Support the organizations we sponsor annually both domestically and abroad, addressing pressing issues related to women’s rights and gender equality, and educational improvements. (Read More)
  • Read and respond to Ashley’s interactive journal, where you can share your own memories and messages. (Read More)
  • Subscribe to our bi-annual Publication, a collection of creative writing pieces written by Ashley and our foundation’s supporters in response to her work, personal experiences during hospitalizations and homestays, and the work of the organizations we support each year. (Read More)

It seems adversity spawns growth. Battling Cystic Fibrosis has forced me to come into my own. This adversity has made me honor my integrity; I know who I am, what I am capable of, and will not compromise myself for anyone. It has equipped me with drive, courage, faith and confidence in myself.
